Delete Your Rider Account
This page explains how to permanently delete your Apni Angithi Rider account and associated data.
Important Information Before Proceeding
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your data will be permanently deleted from our systems
- You will lose access to your earnings history and records
- Any pending payments will be processed before deletion
- You cannot rejoin for 90 days after account deletion
Choose Deletion Method
Method 1: In-App Deletion
Recommended for active riders
- Open the Apni Angithi Rider App
- Go to Profile → Settings → Account Settings
- Tap on "Delete My Account"
- Enter your password to confirm
- Select reason for deletion (optional)
- Tap "Permanently Delete Account"
Note: This method is fastest and provides instant confirmation.
Method 2: Email Request
If you cannot access the app
Send an email to support@apniangithi.com with:
- Subject: "Rider Account Deletion Request"
- Your registered mobile number
- Your registered email address
- Full name as per account
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Processing Time
Email requests are processed within 7 working days. You will receive a confirmation email once completed.
What Data Gets Deleted?
Upon account deletion, the following data is permanently removed:

Note: Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax laws. These records are anonymized and cannot be linked to your identity.
Data Retention Exceptions
Some data may be retained in specific circumstances:
- Records required for legal compliance or government investigations
- Data related to ongoing disputes or complaints
- Information needed for fraud prevention
- Anonymous, aggregated data for analytics
