Your information is used to process orders, communicate order status, personalize your experience, improve our services, and send promotional offers (only with your consent). We never sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Location Data
We use your location to show nearby restaurants and calculate delivery routes. Location is only accessed when you actively use the app and is not stored beyond what is needed to fulfill your order.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers in India. We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) for all data transmission. Payment information is processed by Razorpay and never stored on our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and real-time order updates, Razorpay for payments, and Google Maps for location services. Each has its own privacy policy. We do not control how these services handle your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Order history is kept for 3 years for legal and tax compliance purposes. You can request deletion of your personal data at any time through the Delete Account page.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@apniangithi.in or use the Delete Account section in your profile.
8. Cookies
Our web app uses cookies to maintain your session and remember preferences like your delivery location. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some features.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this privacy policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via the app or email. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
